Why We’re Raising Funds

Over the past few years, our team has been developing next-generation wireless and wearable biosensing technology for telerehabilitation, creating smart garments and sensor systems designed to make physical therapy more connected, personalized, and data-driven.

We’ve already built research-grade hardware—low-noise EMG and IMU systems capable of capturing muscle activity and motion with the precision needed for neuroscience, biomechanics, and clinical applications.

But as federal research grants have slowed, Kickstarter gives us the bridge we need to move from small-batch prototypes to full-scale production—and to get this technology into your hands.

Sentimo is our answer to a long-standing problem in biosensing technology. Today’s landscape is polarized:

• On one side, lab-grade systems like Delsys, Noraxon, and BIOPAC offer excellent fidelity—but at costs of $20,000–$30,000 per setup.
• On the other, low-cost analog boards are noisy, unreliable, and insufficient for real science or product development.
